I wouldn't have minded if the fighting was here and there or frequent light jabs like "well, you're not sexy at all", but it's literally fighting from beginning to end on almost every single page. It did get lighter in the last 1/4th of the book, but that can't save it. The only thing pushing me to finish this book was that it's written by the creator of Let Dai. I was hoping it would finally stop/lessen, maybe have deep moments like her other work, but nope. Could it get better? Perhaps. Past that there's nothing wrong with the plot or characters. If the rest of the series is like the last quarter I'd read it.

don't get this book unless you are looking for book 1 of the series
they picture is book one, the ISPN is book one BUT the title is book 5 and like other buyers I recieved the first book twice.....
